Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of undated and post medieval field boundary ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3447 1770. A curvilinear ditch cropmark of unknown date extends for 340m on a roughly northwest to southeast alignment between TG 3430 1779 to TG 3457 1758. A straight ditch cropmark is present on a similar alignment roughly parallel to Norwich Road / Mill Hill to its southwest. A further linear ditch cropmark lying at a right angle to it on a roughly southwest to northeast alignment appears to correspond to a field boundary on the 1840 Horning tithe map (S2). Although not shown on the map, it is possible that the other linear ditch cropmark is also of post medieval date.
