Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP
A World War Two military building and light anti aircraft gun emplacement are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This building was located at TG 3425 1787. A rectangular hut with a flat roof was present adjacent to a field boundary. Immediately to the north of this building was a open-roofed structure containing a central pedestal. It is possible that this was a mounting for a light anti aircraft gun such as a Lewis or Bren gun. The function of the building is not known but it is possible that it is associated with the radar station at Neatishead that was located 650m to its northeast (NHER 31218).
