Full Description
'Stone saddle quern' noted on (S1).
E. Rose (NAU).
F. Healy (NAU) notes: this may be the same as a 'polissoir', petrology N183, quartzite, as petrology drawings show dished ogival lozenge shaped slab 24.2 x 17 x 4cm; it is however said to come from TL 6816 8776, where nothing is marked but is further east in same field.
E. Rose (NLA) 26 November 1993.
