Map

November 2006. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks and earthworks of a series of probable post medieval boundaries to either side of Belton Fen (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 4937 0418. These boundaries, which are mostly embankments, appear to largely pre-date the layout depicted on the 1838 Belton Tithe map (S3). However the boundaries follow a similar alignment and are therefore likely to also be broadly post medieval in date. The northern boundaries, which are visible as earthworks in 1953 (S1) appear to define part of a property boundary and form a slight terraced or raised area, on which a small structure still sits.
