Summary

An evaluation in 2006 uncovered human remains, probably associated with the church of St Nicholas known to have been nearby. Pottery and iron nails were also found.

Evaluation of proposed development site. Contexts 1-40 used.
Two modern pits and a deposit containing disarticulated human bone remains, no grave cuts, probably a part of the burial ground associated with the (now gone) church of St Nicholas (NHER 60522) known to have been near 38 Priory Road.
