Summary

Pieces of slag, charcoal, medieval pot and bone were found in a test pit excavated by SHARP in 2004 as part of the Village Survey.

Many pots sherds recovered, mostly unabraded glazed Grimston ware. There was also more slag than in the other Village Survey test pits.
