Map

March 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a possible incomplete double-ditched enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3810 1736. Two double linear ditches are present forming an L-shaped arrangement with a further single ditch extending to their south. These double ditches do not appear to relate to a trackway and could be part of an enclosure. Although the date of these cropmarks is unknown it is possible that they could relate to the former Bishops’ palace at Ludham Hall immediately to their north (NHER 8454).
