Map

April 2007. Norfolk NMP
Earthworks of irregular mounds, possibly medieval saltern mounds and a mill mound are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TG 4435 0482. Three irregular earthwork mounds are present. The most northeasterly of the three is sub-circular in plan and could have been a mound for a post medieval drainage mill. The other two mounds are more linear in form an may be associated with natural levee banks. However, it is possible that they are saltern mounds of medieval date.
