Full Description
April 2007. Norfolk NMP.
A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3), centred at TG 3487 2208. It may represent the site of a Bronze Age round barrow but in the absence of other evidence this must remain open to question.
The ring ditch is approximately circular in plan and measures 25.5m in diameter. A gap on the south side of the ditch circuit is more likely to reflect the cropmark being masked than the presence of a genuine entrance.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 30 April 2007.
