Map

Cropmarks of a medieval to post medieval post mill are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4). This cropmark is centred on TG 4201 0556 and was previously recorded as a ring ditch as part of NHER 32060. The post mill cropmark comprises of a circular ring ditch with a 3m wide ditch and an external diameter of 24m. A cross-shaped pit is present in its centre (S3-S4) confirming that it is a windmill site. However, as with many post mill sites it is possible that the existing mound of a Bronze Age round barrow was adapted for use as a mill mound. A second post mill is located 270m to the west (NHER 32060)
