Full Description
1919.
Found during excavations in High Street, King's Lynn (square 61…20..). Bone pin found with eighteen others and loomweights. Labelled Roman but this is not certain.
R. R. Clarke (NCM).
However two pointed clay loomweights and a bone needle are in Wisbech Museum with exactly the same information except that donors are Beloe and W. Easter.
Is NCM card wrong in giving Peterborough Mueum, or were some given to each?
A.J. Lawson (NAU) 26 June 1981.
