Summary

A possible trackway, consisting of a scarp and a parallel bank, was recorded during the Felbrigg Estate Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey in 2006.

Felbrigg Estate Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey. Great Wood, Site 2.
A north-south double feature, the westernmost being an east-facing scarp up to 0.4m high, the other a parallel bank c0.9m to the east, of c0.3m spread and up to 0.5m high.
It extends slightly to the south of Site 1 (NHER 50210) and at its northern end bends to the northeast to be truncated by Site 4 (NHER 50213).
Not shown on any early map, but is considered a likely trackway leading onto the common.
