Summary

The cropmarks of an enclosure of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the immediate west of Panxworth Carrs. The northern boundary of the enclosure follows the line of a boundary marked on the 1838 South Walsham Tithe map, suggesting that the features are unlikely to pre-date the medieval period.
