Summary
Probable iron workings were recorded during the Felbrigg Estate Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey in 2006. The site consists of about a third of a hectare of irregular depressions.

Felbrigg Estate Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey. Smith’s Rough, Site 24:
An area of about one-third of a hectare of irregular depressions similar to those of Site 21 (NHER 50229).
Same interpretation as likely iron workings.
