Map

June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
A group of linear ditches, of unknown date and function, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 3348 2107. Their rectilinear layout and orientation, which is shared by the modern field pattern, suggests that they probably date to the post medieval or even modern period. They probably represent field boundaries and/or drainage features.

It should be noted that due to an inadequate number of control points, rectification of the aerial photographs was very poor, and this may have had an adverse effect on the accuracy of the mapping.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 7 June 2007.
