Map

May 2007. Norfolk NMP.
This cropmark site consists of former field boundaries of unknown, but possibly Roman date, visible on aerial photographs to the south of Cedar Farm, Upton with Fishley (S1). The site is centred on TG 3896 1177.
The site consists of a small group of ditches, the majority of which are aligned northwest to southeast or northeast to southwest, and are likely to represent former field boundaries, and where double ditched, trackways. These features are located to the east of several large areas of enclosures and fields (such as NHER 11858, 49469), following a similar alignment and these are associated with Roman material.
S. Massey (NMP), 29 May 2007.
