Full Description
May 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch, potentially the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs to the south of Upton Road, Pilson Green (S1). The site is centred on TG 3776 1332.
The ring ditch is slightly oval in shape, measuring 30m by 35m. There are several breaks in the ditch, which is incomplete to the east. It must be noted that the cropmark is quite ill-defined and the edges indistinct and it is therefore possible that it of non-archaeological origin.
S. Massey (NMP), 30 May 2007.
