June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a trackway and field boundaries of probable post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the immediate south of Old Hall (NHER 3979), Strumpshaw (S1). The site is centred on TG 4527 0627.

The site consists of a sinuous trackway leading towards the Old Hall and a series of parallel ditches and field boundaries. Roman date material has been found within close proximity to this site (NHER 10239), however it seems likely that the cropmarks all relate to the post medieval layout associated with the hall to the north.
