Map

July 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of medieval to post medieval field boundaries or a possible moated enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 4084 9505. Cropmarks of broad rectilinear ditches and an enclosure are present. These partly survived as extant field boundaries in 1946 (S2). However, the breadth of the cropmarks suggests that they might have related to medieval moats like those lying immediately to the north-east (NHER 10706).
