A 12m by 3m depression with seasonal water was recorded during the Barton Leys Fincham Estate Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey in 2006. Possibly a watering hole.

A 12m by 3m depression with seasonal water. Its near rectangular shape indicates at least in part a man-made function. Its proximity to the track possibly suggests a small watering hole.
