Map

Cropmarks of a ring ditch of probable Bronze Age date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is centred on TG 4026 0486 and was previously recorded as part of NHER 21818. The ring ditch is circular in plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 16m. It is probably Bronze Age in date and may relate to a round barrow. The ring ditch lies within a group of enclosures that probably represent an Iron Age to Roman farmstead (NHER 49382). It is also possible that the ring ditch could relate to a roundhouse of that date.
