Summary

Metal-detecting between 2004 and 2016 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval tokens and jettons and Late Bronze Age, Roman, Early Saxon and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age gold penannular ring; a Roman brooch; a fragment of Early Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon strap-end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval horse harness pendant and suspension ring; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel foot, a post-medieval cloth seals and a lock plate; and a modern gold finger ring.

Late Bronze Age penannular gold ring.

The gold Late Bronze Age penannular ring was reported as potential Treasure (Treasure case 2007 T475), declared Treasure at inquest on 20 May 2008 and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2008.498).
