Summary

The earthworks of an embankment of probable post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs on an area of drained land to the south of Haddiscoe. This may have formed a causeway or raised route across the wetter ground.

The earthworks of an embankment of probable post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs on an area of drained land to the south of Haddiscoe (S1). The site is centred on TM 4403 9635. The bank is 3-5m in width and has been follows an angled course across the lower drained area. This may have formed a causeway or raised route across the wetter ground.
