Full Description
July 2007. Norfolk NMP.
A rather disparate group of linear ditches, all of unknown date, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TM 3521 9937. Some of the cropmarks may be of no archaeological significance, being the product of modern agricultural activity. Others could be associated with surface evidence of a possible Roman period settlement here (NHER 20377 and 20378), or with some of the multi-period finds recovered from the area (the aforementioned sites and NHER 21880).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 31 July 2007.
