Summary

A rather disparate group of linear ditches, all of unknown date, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. Some of the cropmarks may be of no archaeological significance, being the product of modern agricultural activity. Others could be associated with surface evidence of a possible Roman period settlement here (NHER 20377 and 20378), or with some of the finds of various periods recovered from the area (the aforementioned sites and NHER 21880).
