Summary

This post medieval manor complex was completed by George Gilbert Scott junior in 1873. All that remains of the large brick manor house is the service wing. A set of brick stables survive and have been partly converted to residential use.

Manor house by George Gilbert Scott junior, 1873, demolished except for small fragment.
Stables remain with cupola containing clock and bearing weather vane. Horizontal bands of yellow and red brick, with imitation Dutch gables. Part inhabited - remainder in bad condition.

The surviving part of the Manor House is a service wing. Gault brick with red brock dressings and pantiled roofs.

Proposal to provide en-suite bathroom to first floor bedroom, insert partition to form an additional bedroom, to provide a new spiral staircase and insert a minstrels gallery with store room under.
