Map

November 2002 - January 2003. Geophysical, metal detecting and fieldwalking survey. Bacton to King's Lynn Transco pipeline. Plot number 1.
Geophysical survey detected an isolated circular feature with a gap in its circuit, loosely associated with high magnetic susceptibility readings, which is interpreted as a possible Iron Age/Roman round house. Some of the other anomalies could relate to a pond seen on the ordnance survey 1st edition map (S1) and a former field boundary.
One post medieval sherd was found during fieldwalking.
