Full Description
August 2007. Norfolk NMP
A cropmark of a former road of probable medieval to post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs (S1). A section of linear cropmark relating to the compacted or metalled surface of a road is present on a northwest to southeast alignment. It continues the line of a surviving road to the northwest and is marked on Faden’s 1797 county map (S2). Medieval and post medieval coins and tokens previously found in the vicinity of this cropmark (NHER 30660) may have come from the line of the road.
