Map

September 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of two possible Bronze Age ring ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). A possible ring ditch is present with a 2m wide ditch and an external diameter of 27m. This cropmark is very faint but appears to relate to a ring ditch of Bronze Age date, possibly surrounding a round barrow. A second, and even less certain, possible ring ditch cropmark is located 7.5m to the west. It has a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 11m. It is possible that it is also of Bronze Age date. Both of these ring ditches are located within the area of Creefer's Hill Quarry and the area of the cropmarks has since been destroyed by quarrying.
J. Albone (NMP), 21 September 2007.
