Cropmarks of linear banks, probably field boundaries of unknown date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Their alignment does not correspond to the post medieval field pattern and it is likely that they relate to earlier field boundaries of unknown date. The area of these cropmarks has been removed by quarrying since 1995.
