Full Description
January 2008. Norfolk NMP.
A linear ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3), between TG 2562 1926 and TG 2562 1921. It almost certainly represents a post medieval field boundary, as the cropmark is relatively well defined and it continues the line of the modern hedgerow to its north. Its orientation is markedly different to that of other cropmarks in the vicinity, including the ditch circuit of a Roman camp (NHER 4379).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 10 January 2008.
