Summary

A group of linear and rectilinear ditches, of unknown date and origin, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. Their archaeological significance is uncertain, and they may simply reflect recent agricultural processes or similar activity. There is no apparent association with the site of a post medieval brick kiln (NHER 8063) identified 105m to the southeast.

A group of linear and rectilinear ditches is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S4), centred at TG 2646 1749. Their date and origin are unknown, and their archaeological significance uncertain. Rather than representing archaeological features, they might instead be the product of modern agricultural activity, for example. There is no apparent association with the site of a post medieval brick kiln (NHER 8063) identified 105m to the southeast.
