Summary

Metal detecting during 2007 recovered a Neolithic flint scraper, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval metal objects as well as Roman, medieval and post medieval coins. Gridded fieldwalking by the Southrepps society in February and April 2011 recovered a large collection of prehistoric worked flint; Roman, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery; post-medieval and late post-medieval brick and tile fragments; late post-medieval vessel glass fragments; post-medieval clay tobacco pipe fragments and a post-medieval conical lead weight.
