Summary

Metal-detecting in 2007 and 2019 recovered medieval pottery sherds; medieval coins and a post-medieval token; aswell as undated, and medieval to post medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undated casting waste; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval brooch fragment, weight, and key; and a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment.

DO NOT USE NHER 51128 FOR RECORDING FURTHER FINDS FROM THIS SITE. PLEASE USE NHER 7255.

July-August 2007. Metal-detecting.
2 medieval coins, 5 pottery sherds (5 unglazed, 1 glazed Grimston strap handle), 1 silver annular brooch fragment, 1 lead weight, 2 casket key, 1 ?buckle plate and 1 ?buckle fragment (annular).
3 medeival/post-medieval vessel fragments.
1 post-medieval token and 1 copper alloy button.
1 undated casting waste lump.
