Summary

This is said to be the site of a possible Bronze Age round barrow, although a site visit in 1979 recorded no evidence of such a feature. Work on the site revealed only post medieval pottery sherds, although excavation on the barrow in 1905 is said to have recovered a Neolithic polished axehead.
