Map

January 2008. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches, probably field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Some of the ditches have a northwest to southeast alignment similar to that of the modern field pattern Church Lane immediately to their west. It is likely that these are field boundaries of probable medieval to post medieval date. An intermittent curvilinear ditch cuts across these on a southwest to northeast alignment. This may also be a field boundary, or a natural feature adapts as such. A small group of linear ditch cropmarks of unknown date and function are also present on a variety of different alignments.
J. Albone (NMP), 28 January 2008.
