Summary

Metal-detecting between 2007 and 2024 recovered a Mesolithic flint adze; an Early Neolithic flint scraper; medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and a range of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman brooch, unidentified copper alloy object and lead steelyard weight; an Early/Middle Saxon incomplete buckle pin; Late Saxon brooches and a silver finger ring; medieval and post-medieval dress accessories; medieval copper alloy seal matrix and lead weight; a medieval/post-medieval spur rowel and post-medieval harness mounts, a coin weight, sword-belt hanger, Jew's harp, crotal bell, barrel tap fragment, spoon, copper alloy seal matrix, lead cloth seals, lead powder flask nozzle and lead bale seal.
