Summary

The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Church Lane, Billingford. The archaeological nature of this site is uncertain and it is possible that the cropmarks relate to underlying geological deposits.

The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Church Lane, Billingford (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 0141 2084. The archaeological nature of this site is uncertain and it is possible that the cropmarks relate to underlying geological deposits. Consequently the level of certainty over the archaeological nature of this site is quite low. The site consists of a roughly circular light-coloured cropmark, approximately 17m in diameter (S1).
