Full Description
March 2008. Norfolk NMP.
A group of fragmentary cropmarks, possibly relating to former field boundaries and trackways of Roman date, are visible on aerial photographs to the northwest of White House Farm, Swanton Morley (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 0164 1831. The date of these cropmarks is not known, but a Roman date seems most likely. Roman date finds have been recovered from the general vicinity of this site (NHER 12299, 28553).
S. Massey (NMP), 03 March 2008.
