Map

March 2008. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of possible ditches and two small rectilinear enclosures may be visible on aerial photographs to the immediate west of Dereham Road, Bylaugh (S1). The site potentially included two small rectilinear enclosures, both approximately 20m across, and a number of ditch-like cropmarks, three of which are parallel to one another. The archaeological nature of these cropmarks is uncertain, in particular the possible enclosures, due to the presence of a number of geological and pedological cropmarks within this field. See NHER 17288 for mention of geological origin for previously recorded ring ditch.
