Map

March 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The soilmarks of trackway or hollow way and a boundary bank of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the west of Park Farm, Bylaug (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 0283 1835.

The site consists of boundary bank or linear spread of compacted ground surface, measuring 5-10m across. This is flanked to the south by a ditch, up to 6m across, possibly representing a hollowed track. The spreading action of the plough may have exaggerated the width of these features as mapped. It seems probable that this track and boundary lead towards the medieval settlement of Bylaugh (NHER 11524).
