Full Description
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ROUND BARROW EXCAVATED BEFORE 1934 AND ASSOCIATED MATERIAL, THE BARROWS DESCRIBED BELOW ARE NOW RECORDED INDIVIDUALLY AS NHER 61503-6, AND COLLECTIVELY AS BARROW CEMETERY NHER 61502.

Round barrow near Botany Bay.Late Bronze Age or Iron Age cremation and sherds found.
Four barrows noted here by Ordnance Survey but their existence seems doubtful.

With the exception of the round barrow excavated before 1934, and the associated finds and evidence for cremations, the barrows described above are now recorded individually as NHER 61503-6, and collectively as barrow cemetery NHER 61502. Whether any of these equate to the excavated barrow is not known.
