Oak Wood Site 7:
A rectilinear depression was observed during a rapid earthwork survey of Oak Wood, Crackling Hill, and Sheringham Wood. The depression is sub-square, measuring approximately 5m wide by 1m deep. It's terraced into the west-facing slope and spoil was evident to the north and west. It has been interpreted as the position of a former military building.
