Summary

A short, sinuous depression identified during an earthwork survey of Oak Wood in 2007. This is likely the remains of a World War Two slit trench, part of the military installations grouped in Oak Wood (NHER 38264).

Sinuous depression, approximately 120m long. Variable dimensions but generally 2m wide and 0.4m deep. Roughly parallel to wood boundary and interpreted as a slit trench.
