Sheringham Wood Site 23:
A large hollow way, measuring up to 10m wide and 2m deep with some irregular embayments, was identified during a rapid earthwork survey of Sheringham Wood. This feature is still shown as a trackway on Ordance Survey maps, and is depicted as access to Wood Farm on the 1838 Tithe Map (S2).
