Full Description
'Some years before' 1995.
Roadworks outside Patrick and Thompson yard gates uncovered at a depth of 1 metre 'a yellow tiled floor of what appeared to be yellow Bawsey tiles'. Information from (S1).
The identification is improbable in this area which is beyond the old quay line and the tiles are presumably of later date.
E. Rose (NLA), 26 September 2006.
