Map

Old Draining Pump marked on (S1) but nothing here on (S2); therefore it had come into being after 1840 but already been long disused by 1883. Not stated to be a windpump, therefore possibly an animal-powered or steam engine.
E. Rose (NLA), 22 November 2006.
