Full Description
House, aligned east-west and shown on (S1). (S2) in file states it is 17th century, and was once the home of Georgina Buckenham, a member of the family of linen weavers in the village; it has a date stone of 1875 marking a support for a loom. Photograph in (S2) shows a thatched house of one story and romer attic, three bays, stack between centre and end bay, door between centre and other end; gabled at oen end, hipped roof at other. The external form certainly suggests a three cell pattern with cross passage. However the building is not listed.
E. Rose (NLA), 30 November 2006.
