Full Description
March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 21).
Finds from this field included:
5 medieval pottery sherds.
1 ?medieval roof tile.
4 post-medieval pottery sherds, 1 clay tobacco pipe fragment, 1 lead musket ball and 1 unidentified lead object.
1 undatable copper alloy sheet fragment and iron unidentified object.

2009-2010. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping and other groundworks associated with installation of the Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable.
No archaeologically significant remains were observed.
A number of medieval and later finds were apparently recovered from the subsoil during this work, although the exact nature of these objects is unclear.
The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2017.361).
