A fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey of part of this field in 2008 recovered a small number of post-medieval to modern and undatable metal objects.

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 22).
Finds were limited to:
1 post-medieval copper alloy button and 1 copper alloy eyelet.
1 modern bullet.
1 undatable burnt ceramic building material fragment and 2 lead waste fragments
Finds from this field included numerous modern metal objects and a post-medieval button.
