Summary

A fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey of part of this field in 2008 recovered a small number of finds including ?Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; a ?medieval brick or floor tile fragment and a ?Roman copper alloy rod.

Full Description

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 9).
Finds recovered included:
1 ?Roman copped alloy curved rod fragment.
1 ?Late Saxon pottery sherd.
1 medieval pottery sherd.
1 ?medieval brick or floor tile.
4 post-medieval pottery sherds.
1 undatable lead window came and 1 lead ball.
